Rusticated and “Project Assistance” –
A New Concept in Home Improvement.
Would you like to save money building by yourself but feel like it’s a bit over your head?
You decide how much help you need and I’ll be happy to provide it!
Rusticated is all about building it right from start to finish.
My primary focus as Rusticated is the “Project Assistance” model – but I am happy to take on part or all of your project, whatever works for you! Rest assured that the same uncompromising standards of quality, best practices and attention to detail will be built into every Rusticated project, big or small.
…But why the name “Rusticated?”
I happen to like the rustic “Log cabin” aesthetic a lot – This has influenced my personal taste in the design of building projects, and is also the inspiration for some home decor and patio furniture items that I’m currently developing (as time allows.) More details available soon!
Bob & Kazumi’s Deck – Rusticated’s “Project Assistance” in action
We’re sure glad that we had Allan’s help while building our deck. His knowledge of construction, materials and building codes is second to none. He was willing to let us do as much as we could on our own which saved us a lot of money. Allan was very patient when showing us what to do, which helped us learn a lot during the process of building the deck. The best part of working with Allan is that he never cuts corners. He never once said, “it’s good enough,” and kept telling us that it’s important to “do it right.” When it was time for the building inspection by the city, the inspector was amazed at the quality of the deck and actually told me, “this is how decks should be built.” Thanks Allan!
